T5 tubes in length 1149 mm are often used inceiling grid lights but also in wall lights, mirror cabinets, etc. T5 fluorescent tubes usually only have a very short life time. The METOLIGHT T5 TRF LED-tubes can easily be exchanged for the existing fluorescent tubes without rewiring the luminaire. However it is important that the luminaire is equipped with a single-range electronic ballast of 28 Watt. The light power is determined by the power of the electronic ballast. Our data are based on normal ballast factor of 0.9. The rated current is 105-110 VAC - 145-170 mA

Note:
This LED tube is designed exclusively for use with a non dimmable electronic ballast 28 watts. An operation of this LED tubes directly on 230 Volt mains power is not possible! The METOLIGHT LED tube T5 TRF equivalent in brightness to existing fluorescent tubes, but has a much longer life time and a 30-50% lower power consumption.
The matt PMMA front distributes the light up to 140 ° - ideal for use in grid ceiling lights or free emitters at low installation height less than 3 m. The use of SMD LEDs, the latest technology with over 130 lm / W LED efficiency, aluminum core printed circuit boards in an aluminum housing with only 15.5 mm diameter make these LED tubes for perfect retrofit.
This tube need additional fixing e.g. by pad and cable tie.
