The PEAK 1990-4 magnifier, 3x consists of anastigmatic - absolutely distortion-free optics of 2 groups of 3 elements. It provides a sharp image from the center to the rim and a gauge length of 54 mm with 0.1 mm pitch. Focusing is performed via a handy adjusting ring.
In addition to traditional applications such as image, printing and deacon trolls or length or distance measurements to 54 mm this Anastigmat Lupe is also used for the control of X-ray films, in dermatology and where next to a large field of view a perfect distortion-free and true-color representation is required.
