T5T6 tubes in length 849 mm are mainly used in grid ceiling lights, wall lights, mirror cabinets, shelves etc. Common T5 fluorescent tubes often come with a very short shelf life. The LED tube T5T6M comes with a matted, unbreakable PC shell that distributes the light at about 140 °. This tube is also available with clear shell (series T5T6C). The G5-sockets can be rotated, so that the tube can be aligned correctly in luminaires with side view sockets. The SMDs of brand EPISTAR offer an efficiency of 160 lm / W, CRI Ra> 80 and are in accordance with the energy class  C (EU 2019). The internal power supply and wiring are double-insulated and comply with VDE regulations according to DIN EN 62776 (VDE 0715, Part 16): 2012-02.

This T5T6 led tube can be operated directly on the mains voltage. Operation on dimmers is not possible. Existing ballast must be removed by a qualified electrician and the G5 sockets must be rewired so that the LED tube can be operated directly on the mains voltage. A conversion guide accompanies each shipment. After lighting remodeling a test according to DIN VDE 0701-0702 must be carried out.

Each tube is checked in Kirchheimbolanden for proper operation prior to shipment with us. You can request for free each batch a test report from our photometry. We create data for light calculation also in our own laboratory light - IES.
Note:
At each converted luminaire checks must be performed, which demonstrate that the luminaire is safe. It is recommended to DIN VDE 0701-0702 "Inspection after repair, modification of electrical appliances - Periodic inspection of electrical appliances - General requirements for electrical safety" apply. The converted light must be provided with a new label.
