LED luminaire with integrated nanoparticle air filter system and UVC light chamber

The METOLIGHT® LED ceiling light series RDL-6060-CLAIR is a completely newly developed system with an integrated air filter system based on nanoparticle filters and integrated UVC light in the air chamber - no UVC light penetrating outside, therefore particularly safe.
The RDL-6060-CLAIR (CleanAir) can be installed in conventional grid ceilings with a grid of 60 x 60 cm (not 62 x 62 cm!) or it can be attached directly to the ceiling as a surface-mounted ceiling light. Installation frames and suspension devices are optionally available.
The illuminated area of ​​46 x 46 cm corresponds to UGR19 and has a luminous flux of 4000 lm at 40 watts of power. (100 lm/W). This corresponds to the new energy class E that will apply from September 2021 (previously according to EU874-2012: class A +)
As standard, we deliver this luminaire in light color 4000K - neutral white.
The light colors warm white (3000K), day white (5000K) and cool white (6500K) are optionally available.

The special feature of this ceiling light is the integrated multi-stage filter system for cleaning and decontamination of the room air.
An integrated radial fan with a power consumption of 10 W and an air output of 60 cbm/h sucks in the room air on 2 opposite grids with integrated, exchangeable nanoparticle activated carbon filters, which then passes through a highly active UVC radiation for disinfection and on both of them other air outlets - also equipped with special filters, cleaned and disinfected.
The effectiveness of the filter units has been confirmed by the SGS institute in various test series (see data sheet). According to this, bacteria and viruses (including the H1N1 flu virus and thus also COVID-19) are killed by the filters and UVC radiation.
With a recommended air circulation of 5-10 times per hour, a room volume of 6-12 cbm can be efficiently cleaned and disinfected with one light.
An integrated timer signals when the replaceable air filters need to be changed (after approx. 2100 operating hours).
The noise level of the integrated fan is below 40 dB.
The lighting and fan can be switched separately. The integrated power supply unit is designed for input voltages between 220 - 240 V AC 50/60 Hz for long-lasting, low-maintenance operation up to approx. 30,000 hours (L70B50).
