LED-Tubes-SCE

For customers who attach great importance to quality, yet also have to pay attention to their wallets, we have developed the LED tube series SCE. SCE stands for Safety Connect Electronics, which means that the tubes are contacted on one side and there is no risk of current entrainment (risk of electric shock) from one tube end to the other. These LED tubes can be used dicrectly in linear fixtures with G13 base and starter without luminaire modification.

Low-cost LED tube METOLIGHT SCE - with single-sided safety contact

METOLIGHT LED tubes of the SCE series comply with the new standard EN62776 (VDE 09761 part 16). Although these tubes are not VDE-tested, they still have all the safety devices that meet the standard, such as double insulation, protective circuitry and single-sided contacting. The LED tube SCEs are particularly safe and can also be installed safely by laymen. We supply the LED tubes of the SCE series in diameter T8 (26 mm) suitable for all luminaires with socket G13 (T8 fluorescent tubes)

Before replacing the tube, the lamp must be disconnected from the power supply, as otherwise the ballast may discharge in a flash when the tube is inserted and damage the LED tube.
