This ESD floor mat in the format 150 x 200 cm, 2 mm thick, has rounded corners and 2 x 10 mm push button. It is supplied with a smooth ground cable.
The floor mat is simply placed on the existing floor and connected to an earthing point using the earthing cable supplied. The mat is suitable for chair castors, the conductive rear side has a point-to-point resistance of 10^3 to 10^4 ohms, the resistance to the groundable point Rgp is 10^6 to 10^8 ohms.
This mat is also available on rolls 2 m wide, 9 m long, but then without earthing points and without rounded corners.
Likewise, customer-specific cuts can be made from the roll goods and earthing pushbuttons can be inserted according to your specifications.
Area of application:
ESD floor mat for covering floors at workplaces, but also as a shelf or on transport trolleys for workplaces in the field of electronics, printed circuit boards, assembly, repair areas, optics, clean room and ESD areas. Earthing: Using the earthing cable supplied, connected to one of the two earthing points with a push button, the other end of the cable connected to an earthing point. Glue larger areas or several of these mats together with self-adhesive aluminum tape (item Asmetec 101334, roll 50 mm x 50 m long) in a grid format of approx. 50 x 50 cm on the substrate of the area to be covered and connect to an earthing point. The weight of the mat creates an electrical connection between the conductive mat and the aluminum strip. The aluminum tape can then be placed in a suitable location, e.g. earthed to protective earth (PE).
