ASMETEC BERLIN-Uhr (Berlin Clock)
Berlin-Clock - Model without alarm function.
Exclusively available from ASMETEC: the new table version of the nostalgic BERLIN-Clock.
The BERLIN-Clock was developed of the Berlin engineer Dieter Binninger in the mid of the 70s for the City of Berlin. It was the first clock that displayed the time not with hands but with light symbols.
The table version was sold in thousands in the late 70s and early 80s,
Since the components of the original version are no longer available, ASMETEC developed a modern electronics including integrated power backup in case of mains loss.
The new Berlin-Clock table version is 19 cm high. The LED-display is 8 x 11 cm .
The Berlin clock offers 2 independent alarm sets, RIPS processor and industrial quartz driver, providing accuracy of about 5 min/month.
